Automotive Product Training Specialist

Important

This position is strictly intended for candidates with hands-on experience delivering product - sales training within the automotive industry. Candidates whose experience comes from other industries or does not directly align with the responsibilities described below will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced proficiency in AI-powered tools to enhance training content creation and learning experiences.
• Design and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training programs covering vehicle products, technologies, equipment, and electromobility.
• Train and continuously update internal teams and dealer networks on new products, technical features, and competitive advantages.
• Develop training materials, including manuals, technical guides, presentations, videos, and e-learning content for the BYD Academy.
• Standardize learning methodologies and instructional content across all training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through attendance, assessments, participant satisfaction, and business performance metrics.
• Monitor training KPIs, including completion rates, customer satisfaction, and presentation quality.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to support Product, Marketing, and Commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Fleet, Marketing, and Aftersales teams to reinforce product positioning and commercial initiatives.
• Recommend continuous improvements based on dealer feedback, training results, and network performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering , or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product training, technical training, or automotive learning & development .
• Experience delivering training sessions, workshops, or corporate events.
• Previous experience within the automotive industry as Product expert, Product Embassador
• Professional English written and spoken is required for communication with global teams.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
