We are looking for an energetic, collaborative teammate to maximize efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction in procurement functions including supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, purchase order management, and spend reporting. You will interact with team members from Finance, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Facilities to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of essential goods and services. You will lead and participate in high level strategic initiatives and support daily business execution, often interacting with senior level management. In short, you’ll support the continued success of Intermedia by supplying first-class procurement services to its internal and external partners.

What you will be doing:

• lead planning, preparation, and execution of steering committee meetings with the CFO and procurement senior leadership from the business unit teams.
• Drive goal setting, planning, and other strategic projects in support of the steering committee and procurement leadership.
• Spearhead large scale, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to drive transformational changes Owithin procurement (including selecting / implementing new systems and identifying / implementing best practices)
• Prepare presentations for owners and senior leadership summarizing the impact of procurement’s efforts and outlining our plans.
• Foster connections across teams / functions by planning events, coordinating conversations, and encouraging communication across groups
• Execute cross-business unit cost savings projects for key categories and vendors.
• Lead and execute supplier communication and contract negotiation to secure favorable terms, drive cost savings, and ensure internal stakeholder requirements are met
• Proactively generate ideas for potential projects by soliciting ideas from team members, researching best practices, reviewing vendor offerings, and using data to forecast potential impact
• Lead cross-functional and cross-unit projects focused on improving processes, creating policies, & implementing tools to increase efficiency and efficacy of procurement
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate training sessions including 40+ attendees to build capabilities of procurement personnel and share learnings from projects
• Contribute and lead continuous improvement projects in the enterprise’s spirit of questioning everything

What you will bring to the role:

1. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 -5+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management as well as other fields related to the position.
2. Direct experience negotiating and executing contracts in partnership with legal department
3. Self-starting, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude with a program management perspective
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups
5. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and contractual skills
6. Solid interpersonal and rapport building abilities
7. Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements
8. Technically savvy, including a demonstrated high level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite of productivity applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio with familiarity with enterprise financial systems
