Job Overview:

As a Communication Designer with a focus on Presentations, you will support Oliver Wyman consultants by transforming complex business content into clear, compelling and visually engaging stories, primarily through Microsoft PowerPoint.

Working as part of the Presentation Team within the Creative Studio, you will combine strong presentation design fundamentals with storytelling, communication thinking and visual problem-solving to create high-quality, client-ready deliverables. You will help consultants communicate their ideas more effectively by considering not only how information looks, but how audiences understand, navigate and remember it.

The role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in communication and presentation design, collaborate with global consulting teams, and explore how AI and emerging creative technologies can support ideation, storytelling, visualization and more effective creative workflows within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE THAT REQUIRES A PRESENCE IN THE OFFICE 2 DAYS PER WEEK. THERE IS NO OPTION TO BE FULLY REMOTE.

We are hiring for 2 shifts:

MORNING SHIFT: 8AM - 5PM

AFTERNOON SHIFT: 2PM- 11PM

Required Skills

• Microsoft PowerPoint Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to create and edit professional presentations. Demonstrates the aptitude and willingness to develop advanced presentation and communication design skills.
• Communication Design & Storytelling: Ability to understand the purpose and key message of a presentation and translate complex information into clear, engaging visual narratives. Demonstrates an interest in how structure, storytelling and design work together to communicate ideas effectively.
• Design Fundamentals: Understanding of layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy, and information presentation, with the ability to apply these principles to create clear, professional and visually engaging communications.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality, with the ability to follow templates, brand guidelines, and established processes while meeting deadlines.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand requirements, discuss ideas, work collaboratively with consultants and teammates, and respond positively to feedback.
• Adaptability & Learning Agility: Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and best practices, including the use of AI and emerging creative technologies, while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• English fluency a must

Key Responsibilities

Brand

• Develop an understanding of Oliver Wyman's brand guidelines, visual identity, communication principles, and presentation standards.
• Produce presentation materials that consistently align with approved templates, brand requirements, and quality expectations while using design to strengthen the communication of the underlying message.

Process

• Learn and follow established presentation production and communication design processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
• Apply foundational problem-solving and storytelling skills to structure content, clarify messages, and resolve presentation design challenges with guidance from senior team members.
• Develop a strong attention to detail by reviewing both the visual execution and clarity of communication before delivery.

Communication & Storytelling

• Work with consultants and team members to understand the audience, purpose, key messages, and communication objectives of presentations.
• Help transform complex business content into clear narratives, logical storylines and visually engaging presentation experiences.
• Ask questions proactively to clarify requirements, challenge ambiguity where appropriate, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Build strong working relationships through responsiveness, reliability, collaboration, and a service-oriented mindset.

AI & Technology

• Use and explore AI tools as part of the creative process, including applications for ideation, content exploration, storytelling, visualization and presentation development.
• Experiment with AI and productivity tools that can improve creative thinking, presentation quality, and workflow efficiency while applying appropriate judgment and quality control to their outputs.
• Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to adopt emerging technologies and incorporate them thoughtfully into communication design workflows.

Adaptability

• Remain flexible when priorities, timelines, or project requirements change.
• Demonstrate initiative in learning new tools, techniques, storytelling approaches, and best practices across presentation and communication design.
