Senior Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Executive / Account Manager to lead and grow a strategic banking partnership in Mexico City. This role will act as the primary relationship owner for one of our key banking clients, serving as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders while driving account performance, growth opportunities, and long-term success.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working directly as a strategic partner to banks or financial institutions , managing complex enterprise relationships, and delivering measurable business outcomes within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the day-to-day relationship with a key banking client in Mexico
• Serve as the strategic advisor and primary point of contact for senior banking stakeholders
• Build trusted relationships across commercial, operational, and executive teams
• Identify account growth opportunities and lead commercial expansion initiatives
• Develop and execute account plans aligned with client business objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services
• Monitor account performance, KPIs, and client satisfaction metrics
• Lead regular business reviews and executive-level presentations
• Proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities within the partnership
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract renewals or expansions
• Maintain a strong understanding of banking industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations in Mexico

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management, account executive, or partnership management experience
• Demonstrated experience working as a strategic partner to banks, financial institutions, or enterprise banking clients
• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and institutional relationship management
• Proven success managing large, complex client accounts and driving revenue growth
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial infrastructure partnerships
• Existing network within the Mexican banking sector
• Experience managing strategic enterprise partnerships in Latin America
