The existing diversity of the business portfolio demands from the analice claims team role specialized expertise in the different business areas. The autoappraisal team team works with the business to support a wide array of products and offerings, they process payments to suppliers and insured parties, and the team leader plays a key role in guiding the team to achieve its goals.About the roleWhat you need to know:Lead an appraisal team, focused on providing excellent service to insured parties and clients, work as part of a team, constantly motivating the personnel under your supervision, develop strategies to achieve desired service levels (NPS), define goals aligned with the department's objectives, and encourage your team to meet them.Your contribution at AIGSuccessfully leading a team of appraisal´s and body shops partnets, maintaining performance within metrics, and being responsible for 250 (estimation damages) claims per month. Duties and Responsibilities1. Functional Responsibilities:Manage the allocation of claims within their team of appraisal´sProvide a technical referral point for team members and manage performance,Keep the appraisal Manager advised of key Complex loss developments and wider Complex trends.Execute strategic initiatives within their appraisal teamEnsure Complex ‘Best Practice’ is maintained within their appraisal teamDrive performance through required criteriaEnsure claims are accurately assessed and proactively reserved within agreed service levelsEmbed use of balance scorecard/KPIs within team2. Accountabilities:Team performanceTeam professional and technical developmentTeam communicationTeam complianceEffective resolution of claims handled by team adjustersAccurate financial control of claims in estimation damageMitigation of indemnity and expense spend for Complex claims within their teamPerformance manage the team to maximise best practice compliance and minimise lost economic opportunity within appraisal claimsPersonal Development / Succession Planning for individuals within the Complex team.Managing compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements within the Complex team.Effective communication to all relevant stakeholders. 3. Leadership Skills People and team management experience, including the proven ability to effectively manage team membersAbility to positively influence, in a multi-cultural environment, stakeholders at every level both internally & externallyHighly effective communicator (written, verbal, presentation, training)Ability to deliver strategic directives internally while also marketing AIG claims expertise externally.Identify and address performance issues within the team and body shops. 4.
