As a publicly listed company, we have established mature sales and service networks across six continents. Our products are widely applied in residential, commercial, industrial and utility‑scale solar projects. To further expand our market footprint in Latin America, we are now recruiting a dedicated Sales Representative based in Mexico to drive local business growth, develop channel partners and deliver outstanding customer service.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for full‑cycle sales operations in Mexico. You will develop and maintain relationships with local distributors, EPC contractors, installers and end clients, achieve assigned sales targets, conduct market research, promote GoodWe's solar & storage products, and coordinate with internal and local technical teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Target & Business Development
- Develop and execute local sales strategies to meet annual and quarterly sales KPIs.
- Identify, prospect and acquire new partners including distributors, solar installers, EPC companies and project developers across Mexico.
- Expand market coverage and increase GoodWe's local market share.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long‑term stable cooperation with existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits, respond to inquiries about product specifications, pricing and solutions, and dig into clients' potential demands to enhance partnership loyalty.
- Product Promotion & Technical Support Coordination
- Deliver professional product presentations, on‑site demonstrations and product training for partners and clients.
- Cooperate with the local technical support team to provide pre‑sales consulting, solution design and bid document support for solar and energy storage projects.
- Contract Negotiation & Order Follow‑up
- Complete commercial negotiation, quotation, contract review and signing.
- Track the whole process of orders, delivery and payment collection, and resolve abnormal issues during project execution in a timely manner.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor local renewable energy policies, market trends and competitor dynamics.
- Collect market feedback and submit regular sales reports, sales forecasts and market analysis reports to the regional management team.
- Brand & Event Operation
- Represent GoodWe at local solar exhibitions, industry seminars and networking activities to enhance brand influence and capture potential business leads.
- Cross‑department Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between Mexico local team and global headquarters.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, logistics and after‑sales teams to align resources and support sustainable business development.
Requirements & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in Marketing, International Trade, Electrical Engineering, New Energy or related disciplines is preferred.
- At least 1–3 years of sales experience, with working experience in solar PV, energy storage, renewable energy or electrical equipment industry given priority. Candidates with mature channel resources in Mexico's solar market are highly welcomed.
- Based in Monterrey, Actual León; willing to take frequent business trips to different states of Mexico.
Language & Skills
- Bilingual proficiency: Fluent in Spanish (native or C1 level) for daily business communication; excellent English (written & verbal) to communicate with global headquarters and international teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and mainstream CRM software; capable of making sales reports and PPT presentations independently.
- Basic understanding of solar inverters, energy storage systems and related photovoltaic industry knowledge; familiar with local solar project procedures is a plus.
- Possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for field client visits is preferred.
