Data Privacy Analyst

An important global financial services company is looking for "Data Pricacy Analyst" based in Mexico City.

General Objective: Data Privacy Analyst supports the effective deployment for Data Compliance to protect our company and its customers. On his/her perimeter, the Data Privacy Analyst is responsible for the coordination of the implementation of: Privacy Policies and Procedures Data Retention Policies and procedures In line with the Group guidelines and priorities.

Requierements:

• Experience in an international company or regulated environment is a plus. • Knowledge of the banking, financing, leasing or insurance environment. (e.g. HSBC, Banamex, Fintech) • Knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Data protection regulations (LFPDPPP, GDPR, Schrems, local protection laws,)
• Fluent English level
• Knowledge of Data management and data life cycle
• Strong Knowledge of OneTrust
• Good understanding of the information system

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of controls required under the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data (LFDPPP).
• Assist in the management of Data Subject Request (ARCO Rights) and support responses within regulatory deadlines.
• Support the review and maintenance of Privacy Notice, ensuring transparency regarding the collection, use, transfer, and retention of personal data Assist process owners in conducting and documenting privacy assessments for new and existing projects to identify and mitigate risks Ensure that the Data Processing Register is accurate and up to date, by fulfilling the following responsibilities: Assist CDOPA/Business Process Owners in building and maintaining the Data Processing Register of the entity.
