Seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, AWS Serverless, and API development to build scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services supporting modern web and mobile applications.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience as developer
• Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Expertise in designing and developing REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or equivalent serverless technologies
• Experience with API development
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD/GitLab Actions
• Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization
• Experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services
• ADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUST

Hybrid role in any of our 4 locations: Guadalajara, CDMX, Monterrey or Queretaro

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BFF services using Node.js.
• Build and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs for frontend applications.
• Develop and deploy serverless solutions on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure application scalability, security, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
