Procurement Program Manager (Monterrey)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Procurement Program Manager in Apodaca, Nuevo León .

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential HVAC procurement goals and metrics including productivity, supplier rationalization, risk management, supplier quality, on‑time delivery, and achievement of targets.
• Serve as project manager for multiple procurement projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and applying standard work to implement productivity, continuous improvement, new product development, risk, source change, and VAVE programs.
• Ensure alignment of commodity strategies with business unit, engineering platforms, and product management plans and requirements.
• Communicate and coordinate plant and business unit‑specific strategies with commodity teams.
• Evaluate business needs against supplier capabilities to select preferred suppliers who meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements; manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Accurately forecast and report procurement financial metrics, including productivity and inflation.
• Support the development of the annual operating plan for productivity projects, targets, and initiatives.
• Actively participate in business unit/plant productivity gate reviews to secure necessary cross‑functional resources.
• Represent procurement during plant or product value analysis/value engineering (VAVE) events.
• Align and drive actions to close gaps and exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, engineering, project management, quality, finance, and/or operations within a diversified industrial company.
• Proven ability for independent thinking, multitasking, proactive planning, and problem resolution with minimal input.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills across the organization.
• Ability to manage large, complex cross‑functional projects.
• Knowledge of international sourcing, supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality (plus).
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
