FBS Asset Management Lead

Job Summary

The Asset Management & Testing Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the asset management, testing, and depot teams. This role ensures IT assets are properly tracked, tested, deployed, recovered, and disposed of throughout their lifecycle while maintaining high service quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The supervisor manages team performance, supports escalations, oversees asset controls, and works closely with IT, Procurement, Finance, and vendors. This role also drives process improvements and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and effective end-user support.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
On-site at Plaza San Telmo Office, Aguascalientes, Mexico

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the testing and depot operations team.
• Ensure all devices and peripherals are properly tested, validated, and approved for deployment.
• Oversee functional testing of laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support and guide technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and peripheral issues.
• Establish and maintain testing procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and service levels to ensure operational objectives are met.
• Manage escalations and provide technical leadership for challenging cases.
• Analyze testing results, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Logistics teams to support inventory accuracy and asset readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process automation.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit-ready records.
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve hardware quality issues and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and operational standards.

• Asset Management Systems (ServiceNow or similar) – Advanced
• Work Order and Ticket Management Systems – Advanced
• Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) – Advanced
• Hardware Testing and Diagnostic Tools – Advanced
• Inventory and Asset Tracking Tools – Advanced
• Endpoint Management Solutions (Intune or similar) – Intermediate
• Data Analysis and Reporting Tools (Power BI or similar) – Intermediate
• Automation Tools (Power Automate or similar) – Preferred

Qualifications

• Experience leading asset management, testing, depot, or IT operations teams.
• Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with inventory control, asset audits, and operational reporting.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
