Position Overview

The Global Procurement Specialist – Indirect Sourcing is an impactful position that supports the development and execution of global sourcing plans utilizing data analytics and process improvements. The role serves a key strategic function within the Global Category Management Team across categories of Professional Services, HR, Technology and CAPEX/MRO/Facilities, providing process and analytics support, supplier risk mitigation, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. The role offers great opportunities to learn and expand by working with a wide variety of suppliers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner effectively with internal stakeholders, sourcing team members, and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
• Build internal and external business relationships and work with key business partners/leadership to gain a solid understanding of strategic direction, supply requirements, and business objectives.
• Act as a liaison with suppliers, internal business unit clients and transactional teams (e.g., Buyers, Accounts Payable, Business and Finance stakeholders) in support of supplier relationship management, contracting and sourcing processes.
• Assist in contract executions as requested.
• Work closely with the business and finance partners to execute sourcing strategies in order to achieve the Company’s goals.
• Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, supporting the planning and execution of quarterly business reviews.
• Maintain ethical relationships with all supplier representatives, conducting business according to established principles and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Proficient in data analysis and using data to drive strategy; analyze and improve processes for efficiencies. Provide contract, sourcing and supplier relationship management support, including data gathering, preparing reports and executive summary presentations; assist with spend analytics, tracking cost savings and pricing variances; ensure consistent data integrity; write and verbalize results of data analysis clearly and concisely. Partner with Finance and conduct queries of the Company’s procurement databases to perform analytics and provide business guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Finance, or Procurement.
• Strong analytical skills and expert proficiency in Excel, with prior database experience and analysis tools such as Access and Tableau.
• Working knowledge or understanding of Procurement processes.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills; great attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and functions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and adhere to deadlines.
• Robust MS Office Suite skills, including advanced PowerPoint and Visio.
• Experience with ERP systems and Procure-to-Pay concepts is preferred.
