Automotive Key Account Leader (Xico)

Key Account Leader – 3M

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world. The Key Account Leader is a customer‑facing position responsible for establishing and executing the strategies necessary to increase 3M business and relevance with the customer, achieving the defined sales objectives for the Key Account. In this role you will transmit the Voice of Customer within 3M and leverage both Global and Local 3M resources and networks to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Guide 3M's growth and market relevance in the short, mid, and long term for both spec‑in and consumable products within the assigned account.
• Interact throughout the customer's entire organization, building a collaborative network at all levels and engaging with relevant departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Planning, and Management, and occasionally top‑level executives.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer's global and local organization, KPIs, market share, strategies, as well as design, manufacturing, and marketing trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related major.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience with automotive key accounts that have a global footprint.
• Specification process knowledge is preferred (spec‑in).
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce and SAP.
• Experience with automotive OEMs is preferred.
• Training on sales process and techniques is preferred.
• Time management, prioritization, and administrative skills are required.
