Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversees and organizes all operation activities during normal production for the responsible area.
• Leads all team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production plans, etc.
• Assists with implementation of lean methodology and/or health, safety & environmental practices.
• Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department and oversees safety during maintenance if necessary.
• Works with other personnel to complete equipment isolation, flushing, replacement, inspection, commissioning, etc.
• Communicates with team members on all issues.
• Provides performance evaluation input to supervisor.
• May serve as a backup to positions in a shift group.
• Works under limited supervision for non‑routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
• Trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower‑level employees.
• Handles problems that are typically difficult and non‑routine but not complex.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Ingeniero Industrial o carrera afín a Ingeniería.
• 1 año de experiencia en el área.
• Inglés (preferente).
• Manejo de paquetes computacionales.
• Manejo o administración de personal.
