Summary

Genesys is currently recruiting for a Senior Solution Consultant to join our Pre‑Sales team. The Solutions Consultant works with the Sales Account Executives to develop new business across all Genesys product lines. The role is client‑facing and consultative, mapping customer needs to Genesys software, services, and consulting offerings delivered in a holistic solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Account Executives to provide technical and consulting expertise regarding Genesys solutions.
• Manage assigned prospects/customers to help progress sales opportunities.
• Bring a deep understanding of customer problems and solution benefits to all prospect and customer interactions.
• Ensure Sales Account Executives are properly supported.
• Act as a link between the customer's needs and potential solution value.
• Seek to understand customer requirements through consultative discovery efforts.
• Use a service design methodology to uncover gaps in the customer experience (CX).
• Work with the customer to co‑create solutions to bridge CX gaps.
• Match Genesys solutions to customer requirements and address both business and technical influencers.
• Handle objections and demonstrate value effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software solutions engineering (particularly Cloud or SaaS, Microservices, etc.).
• Experience in a Solutions Engineering role, giving live demonstrations and developing presentation materials in PowerPoint or Keynote.
• Strong time‑management, organization and multi‑tasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Analytical abilities with reporting skills.
• Strong self‑initiative and ability to support recommendations with data, research and best practices.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding established goals.
• Ability to communicate and present to Genesys management when required.
• Consulting experience in a software environment.
• International experience in Solutions Engineering or consulting is a plus.
• Enterprise software or contact center industry experience is a plus.
• Sales consultancy experience.
• Public speaking experience.
