PRODUCTION PLANNER

Responsible for preparing and maintaining production schedules in accordance with required demand, utilizing a thorough understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and integrated relationships with procurement and the status of material resources. Is responsible for coordinating production schedules, inventory management and collaborating with various teams to meet production goals efficiently.

Fulfill all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times. This includes, following all HSE policies and procedures, acting on unsafe conditions and aiding Leadership in the attainment of HSE initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

• Develop current month production plan
• Follow up shortages with procurement and within the internal areas (sub assemblies)
• Escalate material shortages affecting production plan in mismatch tool and update impact
• Allocate shortfall material based on priorities
• Maintain and follow up clear to build
• Release production orders
• Support production plan review and buy in in accordance with Master Scheduler and Manufacturing Manager
• Develop and maintain production plan for subassemblies (4 weeks rolling)
• Investigate, resolve, and communicate issues that can affect creating the production plan.
• Acts independently to determine new Production Control methods and procedures
• Identify needs for enhanced processes, methods, and tools providing solution
