Project Management Senior Project Manager - ITSM & AI‐Enabled Professional GUADALAJARA, MX

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead IT service‑focused initiatives using ITIL and ITSM best practices. This role requires strong delivery skills and hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled project execution , including the ability to design, configure, and orchestrate AI agents to improve project visibility, reporting, service operations, and overall delivery efficiency.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

At IBM, our Project Managers play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. As a Project Manager for our premier Software Development Location, you’ll be at the forefront of driving project direction, defining metrics, and managing performance to meet client expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Apply ITIL/ITSM frameworks across service operations, service transition, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (applications, infrastructure, vendors).
• Build, configure, or integrate AI agents to support project and service‑management workflows, including:
  • Automated project status, reporting, and dashboarding
  • Action‑item tracking, task orchestration, and risk identification
  • Meeting summaries, documentation, and knowledge‑capture workflows
  • Budget tracking, forecasting, and delivery‑metric automation
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership across all project phases.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proven experience leading IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

Strong knowledge and practical application of ITIL frameworks and ITSM practices.

Experience using, building, and configuring AI tools, agents, or assistants to optimize delivery and operations.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.

Ability to align technical and business teams, enabling effective decision‑making and successful project outcomes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Experience in infrastructure‑related projects.

Basic to intermediate experience in financial management.

PMP certification (Project Management Professional).
