Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly)

Job Summary

The Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly) in Guadalajara, North Campus, reports to the Process Engineer Manager. The role focuses on process‑engineering capabilities to support cost, quality, and delivery improvements for a PCBA manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical assembly processes that ensure stability, capacity, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
• Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Manage the introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Interface with production on all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
• Lead process development and optimization.
• Provide specialized technical support.
• Oversee project management activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.
• Oversee new process equipment production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 4 years of engineering experience in the high‑technology electronics industry or a related area.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and electronics processes.
• Technical knowledge of intelligent torque tools, PLCs, liquid cooling, pneumatics, poka‑yoke, and maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
