Order analyst (Monterrey)

At Arcelor Mittal México, we are looking for an Order Management Analyst to join our supply chain team in Monterrey. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate order processing, customer service follow-up, and coordination between sales, production, logistics, and supply chain teams to guarantee on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders in SAP/ERP systems.
• Validate order information, pricing, material availability, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with production planning, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery commitments.
• Maintain constant communication with customers regarding order updates and requirements.
• Analyze order flow and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Generate operational reports and KPI tracking related to order management and customer service.
• Support inventory control and delivery scheduling activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in order management, customer service, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Intermediate to advanced English level preferred.

Preferred Skills

• SAP knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing or steel industry environments.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced operations.
• Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
