Senior Dotnet Developer

Languages: Technical English + Spanish (required)
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to support the modernization of legacy systems, with a strong focus on migrating APIs from .NET Framework 4.0 to .NET 8. This role is ideal for engineers with deep expertise in backend development, API transformation, and database optimization within on-premise (data center) environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate and refactor existing APIs from .NET Framework 4.0 to .NET 8
- Modernize and optimize backend services while ensuring system stability
- Work extensively with SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedures
- Maintain and enhance existing systems hosted in on-premise data centers (no cloud involvement)
- Collaborate on code management and version control using GitLab
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability across all implementations
️ Required Qualifications
- 5–6+ years of backend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience migrating APIs from .NET Framework (4.0) to .NET 8
- Advanced SQL Server expertise (query tuning, relational design, stored procedures)
- Solid experience working with GitLab for version control and code validation
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and performance optimization
- Experience working in on-premise/data center environments (no cloud platforms)
- Advanced English and Spanish proficiency (mandatory)
Important Notes
- This role does not involve cloud technologies (no Azure or AWS)
- All systems and infrastructure are managed within a data center environment
