ROLE SUMMARY:

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is a leading private international school in Mexico, offering a high-quality bilingual education to students aged 2 to 18 across three campuses. The Care and Learn Facilitator supports students beyond the classroom by creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment during extended day or care programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise students during after-school and extended care programmes
• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities (academic, creative, recreational)
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all students at all times
• Support students with homework and reinforce learning concepts
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions
• Manage daily routines, transitions, and attendance tracking
• Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
• Provide feedback on student participation and behaviour
• Maintain an organised, clean, and safe environment
• Support school events and extracurricular initiatives when required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient, responsible, and nurturing approach
• Ability to manage groups of children effectively
• Proactive and organised with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
• Advanced English proficiency (required)
