Senior IT Employee Experience & Business Systems Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a professional who can improve the experience of employees joining the company through acquisitions. As our client integrates approximately 10–15 acquired businesses each year, employees must navigate changes to their applications, accounts, devices, networks, support channels, and ways of working.

You will work directly with internal users to understand where the IT integration experience creates confusion or frustration. You will turn their feedback, support trends, and understanding of the technical work into practical improvements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines employee experience, IT service improvement, and business systems analysis.

The role will initially focus primarily on employee experience. As integration processes mature, the balance between experience improvement and systems analysis is expected to become more even.

What you’ll do

• Map the employee journey through IT integration, from initial communications and access setup through adoption and ongoing support. Identify moments where users need clearer guidance or a better process.
• Speak with employees at acquired companies, gather feedback, and establish user satisfaction measures and other indicators that help the team assess and improve the experience.
• Handle user concerns and escalations. Explain changes, technical constraints, and next steps clearly to employees who may be unfamiliar with the systems.
• Propose, assess, and implement improvements across support channels, communications, knowledge resources, and IT processes. Challenge proposed solutions constructively when evidence suggests a better approach.
• Partner with field services, IT teams, marketing, and other departments to deliver improvements. For example, help define and coordinate an intranet entry point that directs newly acquired employees to relevant integration guidance.
• Develop a working understanding of each acquired company’s applications and IT environment so you can help users and teams navigate the transition.
• Support systems analysis activities, including documenting workflows, system connections, communication paths, and integration requirements.
• Help assess software used by acquired companies, identify potential internal equivalents, and coordinate reviews with teams such as Information Security and endpoint engineering.
• Use SharePoint to maintain or organize guidance and manage basic file access; use ServiceNow to review tickets and identify recurring issues.
• When an urgent issue calls for it, assist with initial technical troubleshooting on a user’s computer and involve the appropriate support team.

What you bring

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience across business systems analysis, IT service improvement, IT operations, employee experience, or a similar combination of roles.
• Demonstrated success improving end-to-end experiences or processes for internal users in an IT environment, beyond improving a single application.
• A solid understanding of how enterprise systems connect and how changes such as Microsoft 365 migrations, ERP transitions, application changes, and network changes affect employees.
• Experience gathering user feedback, analyzing service issues or satisfaction data, and turning findings into improvements.
• Confidence handling escalations, communicating with users under stress, and explaining technical matters in plain language.
• The ability to map processes and system interactions and work effectively with technical teams. Experience with diagramming tools such as Visio or draw.io is helpful.
• Strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to coordinate work across departments.
• Professional-level English proficiency for direct collaboration with U.S. stakeholders and end users.

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale IT transitions is particularly valuable. Candidates do not need to have held a Business Systems Analyst title if their experience demonstrates the IT background, user focus, and analytical approach this role requires.
