At OMRON Robotics and Safety Technologies , we're looking for an experienced Robotics Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of innovative robotics solutions and develop new business opportunities within the industrial market.

This is a highly consultative, customer-facing sales role for someone who can combine strong commercial skills with technical understanding.

What you'll do

• Drive business growth and develop new opportunities within your assigned territory.
• Engage directly with industrial customers to understand production challenges, business objectives, and automation needs.
• Position fixed and mobile robotics solutions based on customer applications and expected business impact.
• Develop relationships with end users, system integrators, and other strategic channel partners.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while actively developing new accounts.
• Work closely with Application Engineering and Product Marketing to develop the right technical solution for each opportunity.
• Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, simulations, ROI analyses, pilot programs, and proof-of-concepts.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive technologies to identify new opportunities for growth.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical engineering field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in consultative technical sales , ideally involving industrial hardware and software solutions.
• Experience selling robotics, industrial automation, or complex technical solutions to industrial customers.
• Strong business development and account penetration experience.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical and commercial solutions.
• Experience working with end users, system integrators, and channel partners .
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of industrial robotics is strongly preferred.
• Experience with technologies such as motion control, PLC/HMI, machine vision, safety, sensing, or other industrial automation technologies is highly valued.
