Responsibilities

• Design mechanical structures for switchboards, switchgear, and panelboards.
• Design copper and aluminum busbar systems.
• Develop 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Review and approve manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate projects from engineering through production.
• Track timelines, deliverables, and cost targets.
• Provide technical support to production, quality, and testing teams.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving.
• Standardize designs and drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• +7 years of experience in industrial mechanical design.
• Experience with switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, or MCCs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding).
• Experience with UL standards (891, ****, 67, 508A).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of busbar design, metal structures, and enclosures.
• Advanced English proficiency (+80%).
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
