About the Role

HSBC is seeking a Java Tech Lead to join our technology team in Toluca. This leadership role is ideal for professionals passionate about driving innovation, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers.
• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HSBC’s security and quality standards.
• Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
• Must have a clean credit bureau record .

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: MXN 80,000 – 100,000 per month (based on skills and experience).
• Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Toluca, 2 days remote.
