Role Overview

The Technical Writer is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining customer-facing documentation , including user manuals.

This role may also collaborate with senior writers across multiple business units to ensure full documentation coverage.

The position requires strong collaboration with global teams, product lines, internal departments, and OEM customers with specific documentation needs. With minimal supervision — and sometimes limited technical input — the Technical Writer is expected to independently manage documentation projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for advanced technology products.
• Proactively gather technical information by reviewing engineering materials and interviewing subject matter experts.
• Ensure all documentation follows established formatting, structure, and brand guidelines for both internal and OEM standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for hardware and software products in line with defined processes and style guides.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously across different product lines and business units.
• Provide additional support as needed to meet team and business objectives.

Qualifications

Required

• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.

Proficiency in:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe InDesign
• MadCap Flare (or similar tools)
• Excellent attention to detail, editing skills, and written communication.
• Self-driven team player with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience writing documentation for global or localized audiences.
