CAD 3D Modeler

Position Overview:
The CAD 3D Modeler will be responsible for creating and refining detailed 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role involves collaborating with graphic designers and photographers to develop accurate models that support project goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D modeling and a keen eye for detail. Skill in Photoshop and animation software is also a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 3D Modeling: Create and develop detailed 3D models from sketches, drawings, and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
2. Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into model revisions.
3. Technical Accuracy: Ensure that all models are accurate, detailed, and meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
4. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, changes, and model versions.
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of models to identify and resolve any issues before finalizing designs.
6. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
7. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve modeling techniques and practices.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a CAD 3D Modeler or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your modeling skills.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Revit). Experience with rendering software and visualization tools is a must. Skill with Photoshop and animation software are strongly preferred.
3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in modeling, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
4. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with parametric modeling and advanced modeling techniques.
2. Familiarity with rendering and animation.
3. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
