Loan Officer Assistant - Remote

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support a growing mortgage team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and is confident handling client communication, loan applications, and pipeline management. As an independent contractor, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the mortgage process while supporting the Loan Officer in closing deals efficiently. Responsibilities * Handle inbound and outbound client calls (leads + existing borrowers) * Take loan inquiries over the phone accurately and efficiently * Clearly explain documentation, and next steps to clients * Maintain consistent follow-up via calls, SMS, and email * Support the Loan Officer with pipeline management and task tracking * Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire process * Work with title companies and assist with bank underwriting (UW) processes * Manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines * Generate and manage sales opportunities through proactive calling Why Join Us * USD compensation + Performance-driven bonuses with opportunities for growth * Remote * Training provided * Career Growth Minimum requirements: Minimum Requirements: * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong ability to work well under pressure * Commitment to delivering 100% customer satisfaction * Experience with calls, title processes, and bank underwriting (preferred) * Comfortable making sales calls and closing deals * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to explain complex information in a clear and professional manner * Strong follow-up skills (calling, texting, and email communication) * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in lending, banking, or sales * Bilingual * Familiarity with CRM systems and loan processing software * Work Environment: * Fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Performance-driven with opportunities for growth
