Position Title
HRIS Analyst
General Objective
Maintain, organize, and optimize human resources information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HRIS Analyst supports Syntax’s data management, reporting, system maintenance, and process improvement needs while ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and effective end-user support. This role works with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics, and SharePoint and collaborates with HR, IT, and business stakeholders across international environments.
Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration and continuous improvement of HR systems and related processes. The role maintains HR data quality, develops standard and ad hoc reporting, supports troubleshooting and issue resolution, documents procedures, and contributes to strategic and operational HR technology initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and support HRIS processes in line with organizational data management and reporting needs.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational and employee data within HR systems.
- Create, maintain, and optimize standard and ad hoc reports, queries, dashboards, and data summaries for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Manage and follow up on HRIS support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with end users.
- Follow established procedures for updating, validating, auditing, and correcting employee records and other HR-related data.
- Support system maintenance, configuration changes, testing activities, and release validation for HRIS platforms and integrations.
- Document processes, workflows, configurations, user guides, and technical or functional manuals.
- Prepare end-user documentation and training materials, and provide user support as needed.
- Support activities related to SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics, and SharePoint, including reporting, administration, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze moderately complex issues and problems, resolving them directly when possible and escalating more complex matters appropriately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence initiatives applied to HR processes.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders on ongoing global and regional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Human Resources Technology, or a related field.
