Credit and Collection –Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX) Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

As a Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.

• Execute end-to-end collections activities for an assigned customer portfolio (e.g., outreach cadence, dunning follow-up, promise-to-pay tracking, aging management) to support timely cash realization and working-capital outcomes.
• Manage complex/aged accounts by prioritizing actions, identifying root causes of delinquency, and coordinating resolution across stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Billing, Cash Application).
• Handle dispute and escalation management: triage, document, drive to closure, and escalate appropriately with clear recommendations and next steps; reduce repeat drivers where possible. o Respond to customer/client and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding invoices, unapplied cash impacts, short pays, credits, and process clarifications; maintain professional written and verbal communication.
• Monitor personal and portfolio performance vs. targets (e.g., overdue %, aging mix, dispute cycle time) and take corrective action to improve results; missed collections can materially impact cash and profitability.

Qualifications Required

• 3-5+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
• Completion of coursework (Egresado) in any pertinent field or industry
• Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks
• Advanced English level
• Experience in finance operations/BPO/shared services with strong exposure to Order to Cash (O2C) and Collections.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, competing priorities, and stakeholder communication in an SLA-driven environment.

Preferred

• Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical reporting tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and customer service orientation.
