Capacity planner (Isla Guadalupe)

KEMET de México , part of the YAGEO Group, seeks a Capacity Engineer to drive efficient capacity planning across the organization and ensure optimal resource utilization. This full‑time, on‑site position will alternate between San Nicolás de los Garza and Guadalupe, NL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree as Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Chain Engineer, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in capacity or planning areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and risks and drive countermeasures to protect output deliveries.
• Align with Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance on assumptions, priorities, and trade‑offs.
• Build simple capacity models and scenarios to support production decisions.
• Lead OEE and continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput, reduce losses, and lower cost.
• Monitor and report key KPIs (utilization, efficiency, service level) and recommend actions.
• Lead and develop the capacity engineering team; standardize methods, tools, and data discipline.
• Create and maintain short‑ and long‑term capacity plans on demand and business forecasts.
