Mexico IT Support Specialist

The Mexico IT Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all client computing systems are operating smoothly and properly. This includes installing and configuring new workstations, network hardware, and software. Other responsibilities such as ordering and receiving new equipment and assisting other systems staff in the implementation and maintenance of special projects will be added over time.

Specific Responsibilities include

1. New Hardware Installation: Involves the setup and delivery to end user. This will include the following:

   • Operating systems
   • Networking setup
   • Telephony
   • Printers

2. Support of Existing Computer and Telephone Client Hardware:

   • Repairs, replacements, etc.
   • Troubleshooting and error reporting
   • Maintaining and updating hardware information database

3. Installation and Support of Software Applications:

   • Support for Microsoft operating systems (Win 10, 11) as well as Microsoft Office
   • Record all software licensing (software management)
   • Troubleshooting and error reporting

4. Other:

   • Performing other duties as necessary to the position and as assigned by the Supervisor Information Systems

Qualifications

• A proven Information Technology skillset with +2 years' experience in a similar role
• Advanced command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Information Technology certificate or degree considered an asset
• An enthusiasm for customer service
• Time management and prioritization skills
• A positive attitude and friendly demeanor
