Treasury analyst

Position OverviewThe Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting core treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and execution of daily transactional activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, maintaining optimal cash positions, and supporting the company’s overall financial stability.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment, with strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.Key ResponsibilitiesTreasury Operations & PaymentsExecute daily treasury transactions, including initiating and processing payments through various banking platformsEnsure accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization of all payment activitiesProcess and manage treasury service requests, including positive pay, check stop payments, voids, and other bank-related maintenance transactionsMaintain and monitor bank accounts, including balances and transactional activityCoordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment executionCash Management & ForecastingPrepare and update short- and medium-term cash flow forecastsMonitor daily liquidity positions and recommend funding actionsSupport intercompany funding activities and cash positioning across entitiesAssist in optimizing working capital and cash utilizationBanking & ReconciliationsAssist accounting with daily and monthly reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in a timely mannerMaintain banking records, signatories, and documentationReporting & ControlsPrepare treasury reports, including cash positions, forecast variance analysis, and KPI trackingEnsure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and audit requirementsSupport internal and external audits by providing relevant documentationProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline treasury processes and improve efficiencyParticipate in system enhancements and treasury-related projectsQualifications & RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldExperience:3–6+ years of relevant treasury or cash management experienceHands-on experience with payment processing and banking platformsExperience with cash forecasting and liquidity managementTechnical Skills:Strong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with ERP systems preferredExperience with banking portals and electronic payment systemsLanguage Requirements:Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)Ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholdersKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical mindset with problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of integrity and accountabilityPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a multinational or shared services environmentExposure to FX transactionsNeeds to be working 4 days at the office in Polanco.
