Production Manager

This role will be responsible for leading production teams, ensuring daily execution of production plans, and driving improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and overall operational performance.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing production areas in a manufacturing environment, with strong shop floor leadership, KPI management, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Materials, and EHS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
• Manage production supervisors, team leaders, and shop floor teams.
• Monitor and improve production KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, efficiency, output, labor productivity, and schedule attainment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, process stability, and waste elimination.
• Ensure compliance with quality, EHS, and manufacturing standards.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Materials, and EHS to resolve operational issues.
• Promote a hands-on leadership culture focused on accountability, problem solving, and team development.
• Support production ramp-ups, process improvements, and operational stabilization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive, Tier 1, or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, problem solving, and KPI management.
• Experience managing production metrics such as safety, quality, OEE, scrap, downtime, cost, delivery, and productivity.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong presence on the shop floor.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Materials, and EHS.
• English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rubber manufacturing, molding, injection molding, compression molding, rubber-to-metal, elastomers, seals, or similar processes.
• Background in automotive components manufacturing.
