What do you get to do in this position

Logistic Process

• Support the design and optimizing of complex logistics processes along the supply chain in agreement with the superior responsible based on given targets. Execute design and optimization of less complex logistics processes coached by relevant superior
• Optimization and simplification of material flow concepts and processes for successful application as well as system improvement of ERP / WMS logistics modules
• End‑user and management oriented documentation of business processes for securing and transferring know‑how
• Determining correlations between master data as well as preparing and installing control loops for updating master data
• Driving continues improvement in all logistics material‑ and information flow processes along the supply chain
• Support the alignment of improvements with operational and process responsibilities
• Support the management of projects with high or special requirements (e.g. just in sequence) under consideration of an integrated supply chain optimization and total cost approach
• Support the harmonizing and standardizing of material‑ and information flow processes based on corporate standards and a lean thinking, to achieve lasting improvements in efficiency and service
• Execute harmonization and standardizing of less complex material‑ and information flow processes coached by relevant superior

IT processes, tools and interfaces

• Key user for SAP WM module and first level support for the WM questions incl. the responsibility for specifying and implementing WM related change requests
• Describing target process specifications for linking material flow concepts with the connected information flows
• Drawing up training concepts and documents as well as execution of qualification measures
• Redesigning, checking and optimizing logistic parameters such as lead times, stock levels, delivery service etc. as well as inventory policies, planning rules, planning methods, etc.
• Support the selection and optimization of logistics infrastructure, equipment and IT solutions

Project management

• Support the management of logistics projects from technical and organizational perspective and manage less complex projects coached by superior responsible
• Defining, planning, coordinating and monitoring tasks within project teams by using defined methods and systems
• Preparing and further development of concepts for improving recording, analysis, modeling, presentation and management of process-related data

Qualifications

• Industrial, Mechanical, Logistics Engineer, or related field
• +3 years of experience in the role
• Experience in internal logistics, Kanban calculation, water spider, process flow definition, spaghetti diagrams
• SAP Experience mandatory
• Calculation and implementation of Plan For Every Part
• Design of workstations and carts for material transport
• Design and implementation of material delivery routes in production lines
• Advanced English
