Search Engine Marketing Specialist

RENTAMiRA

This is not a generalist marketing role. We’re looking for a high-impact digital marketer with deep SEO and WordPress expertise, strong paid media experience, and sharp CRO instincts. You’ll own growth initiatives end-to-end, from technical implementation to performance optimization, in a fast-moving environment where execution matters as much as strategy.

This role is especially suited to someone with direct experience in vacation rental marketing and a strong understanding of how to drive qualified demand across search, paid acquisition, website funnels, and conversion journeys in a highly competitive category.

We also want someone who is highly skilled in AI and can effectively supervise, improve, and extract value from AI agents and workflows. You will serve as the human in the loop, bringing judgment, quality control, and strategic direction to AI-assisted marketing execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO, Paid Ads & CRO (Primary Focus)

Own and execute growth strategies across technical SEO, on-page optimization, internal linking, content-driven growth, and paid acquisition. Manage and optimize paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, with a focus on efficient lead generation, booking intent, and revenue growth. Continuously test and improve conversion paths through landing pages, UX enhancements, funnel experiments, and performance analysis.

Vacation Rental Marketing

Apply category-specific digital marketing expertise to the vacation rental space, including guest acquisition, seasonal demand planning, local market positioning, listing-to-site funnel optimization, and strategies tailored to short-term rental audiences. Understand how to market properties, destinations, and booking experiences effectively to increase occupancy and direct revenue.

WordPress Website Implementation & Optimization

Manage and optimize WordPress sites hands-on, including themes, page builders, plugins, site speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO tooling, and landing page performance. Collaborate with design and development to implement scalable, conversion-focused website improvements.

AI, Automation & Human Oversight

Use GPTs, advanced prompting, AI tools, and automation systems to accelerate content production, keyword research, paid media analysis, CRO insights, reporting, and workflow efficiency without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Supervise AI agents effectively by giving clear direction, reviewing outputs critically, correcting weak reasoning, and ensuring execution aligns with business goals and brand standards.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

Track SEO, CRO, and paid media KPIs using analytics, attribution, and experimentation tools. Translate data into clear insights and continuously refine strategies based on performance. Build reporting that helps leadership understand what is working, what is not, and where to invest next.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance-focused digital marketing, with clear ownership of results
  • Strong experience in  SEO, paid ads, and conversion rate optimization
  • Strong practical experience managing and optimizing WordPress websites
  • Demonstrated experience in  vacation rental marketing , hospitality marketing, short-term rental marketing, or a closely related category
  • Proven ability to drive growth through testing, UX optimization, funnel analysis, and paid acquisition
  • Experience managing campaigns in platforms such as  Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Highly skilled in AI, with hands-on experience using GPTs, prompting, automation tools, and AI-assisted workflows in marketing
  • Ability to supervise and improve AI agent output, acting as an effective human in the loop
  • Comfortable using SEO tools, analytics platforms, and experimentation frameworks
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and performance-oriented
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment

You’re execution-oriented, curious, and obsessed with measurable growth. You know how to connect SEO, paid traffic, WordPress performance, and CRO into one coherent growth engine. You enjoy digging into funnels, campaign data, landing pages, and AI workflows to improve performance week over week.

You bring strong judgment, not just technical skill. You can use AI to move faster, but you also know when to step in, refine direction, and raise the quality of execution. You’re comfortable owning outcomes and iterating quickly based on data.
