Principal, Electromechanics / Electrotechnology Technical Lead

Join us as a Principal Technical Lead, Switchboard & LVDO and become the technical cornerstone for electromechanical and electrotechnology innovation across our low voltage equipment offers. You'll drive system integration, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance.

What will you do?

• Serve as technical single point of contact across the full product lifecycle of new & existing low voltage equipment offers
• Drive technical direction for electromechanical systems that seamlessly integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
• Provide technical guidance & direction to 10+ manufacturing locations to ensure continuity of business & offer optimization
• Lead validation and compliance activities ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

• Electromechanical Engineering — advanced level; leading system design that integrates mechanical and electrical components
• Electrotechnology — advanced level; driving innovation in electronic control systems and sensor integration
• Mechanical Design — advanced level; optimizing structural and functional design for reliability and performance
• Design Optimization — advanced level; balancing efficiency, cost, and manufacturability across complex systems
• Decision Making — advanced level; resolving technical trade‑offs in ambiguous situations with cross‑functional impact
• Problem Solving — advanced level; diagnosing root causes and implementing solutions for moderately complex technical challenges
• Requirements Analysis — advanced level; translating stakeholder needs into actionable technical specifications
• Risk Assessment — advanced level; identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, new product development, test & validation, supply chain support and offer optimization.
• Strong ability to influence others to achieve business objectives and drive results.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven experience driving operational efficiency and process optimization projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Valid visa required for international travel.
