Business Operations Analyst (Guadalajara)

Role at a Glance

Responsibilities

• Revenue Forecasting & Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue projections, cost structures, and margin analysis for newly acquired services and products.
• Process Optimization: Analyze operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable recommendations.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support strategic business decisions; develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key business metrics and trends.
• Operational Support for New Services: Collaborate with global teams to enhance and optimize the operational framework for newly acquired businesses; provide insights that improve service efficiency and scalability.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of operational changes and financial optimizations.
• Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, customer success, finance, and product development teams to ensure operational processes align with business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, analytics, financial modeling, or a related role.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or payments is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Bring

• Financial & Analytical Expertise: Strong proficiency in revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and cost/margin analysis.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or project management systems (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Jira).
• Knowledge of blockchain and payment systems is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex financial and operational data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem‑Solving: Resourceful and adaptable in addressing operational challenges and optimizing processes.
• Understanding of operational challenges unique to the Mexican market, including payment preferences, customer expectations, or regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑cultural teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
