Global Innovation Manager (Fixed-term)

Role Purpose

Lead Sigma's global innovation governance and performance management processes by ensuring consistent methodologies, reliable analytics, and executive visibility across all Business Units.

The role transforms innovation data into strategic insights by managing the company's innovation measurement framework, executive reporting, and digital analytics tools, including the Global Innovation Dashboard. Acting as the central connection between Business Units and corporate functions, this position enables leadership to monitor innovation performance, support strategic decision-making, and continuously improve innovation capabilities across the organization.

Rather than developing products directly, this role enables innovation at a global level by standardizing processes, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring data quality, governance, and alignment across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovation Governance & Performance Management

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Sigma's innovation governance framework, methodologies, and KPI definitions.
• Ensure consistent innovation reporting and performance measurement across all Business Units.
• Monitor innovation performance, identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, and recommend actions based on insights.
• Drive continuous improvement of innovation processes, reporting standards, and governance practices.

2. Executive Reporting & Strategic Analytics

• Consolidate, validate, and analyze global innovation performance data.
• Develop executive presentations, dashboards, and strategic analyses for senior leadership.
• Translate complex business information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Support long-term innovation planning through performance analysis and portfolio insights.

3. Digital Transformation & Analytics

• Act as the business owner for the Global Innovation Dashboard and related analytics solutions.
• Define business requirements and collaborate with IT, Finance, and Controlling to improve reporting capabilities.
• Lead initiatives focused on automation, data governance, reporting reliability, and analytics maturity.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of innovation data across reporting platforms.

4. Strategic Project Leadership

• Coordinate strategic initiatives such as the Three-Year Innovation Plan, Cross-Fertilization, and other global innovation projects.
• Partner with Business Units to ensure alignment between corporate strategy and regional execution.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Innovation, Marketing, Finance, IT, Consumer Insights, and external consultants.
• Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and strategic discussions that strengthen innovation capabilities across Sigma.

Profile Requirements

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Innovation, Strategy, Business Analytics, Consulting, PMO, Finance, Marketing, or Business Intelligence.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrix organization.
• Experience supporting executive leadership through strategic analyses and presentations.
• Experience working with dashboards, business intelligence tools, and performance reporting.
• Global or regional experience is preferred.

This position is a 6-month fixed-term assignment intended to provide continuity and support for Sigma's global innovation agenda during a temporary leave of absence.
