System Test Analyst

Positions are open to Mexican Citizens and official residents of Mexico. Location: Guadalajara (hybrid). Strong English required. Must submit Resume in English.

Introduction to role

You will be accountable for the analysis and testing of new learning technology releases into the organization. You will own the functional testing activities and scripts as well as ensuring that validation requirements are met. You’ll be working closely with business representatives, so good teamwork and facilitation skills are required.

Accountabilities

• Plan and lead delivery of functional testing activities for system testing
• Creation of test-related validation documentation to maintain the system’s validation status post-release
• Work closely with functional analysts to resolve test requirements for releases
• Build, review, approve, and handle all test plans and scenarios for IT test activity
• Handle the creation/maintenance of test scripts and ensure traceability to the user requirements
• Implement test plans supervise or progress, and vital actions and critical issues where appropriate
• Handle any defects raised during testing through to resolution
• Work with the IT team to secure test resources based on the required testing activity
• Analyze and report metrics on testing outcomesEstablish, own, and drive testing activities from start to finish for assigned projects
• Build and run test plan for each test event
• Define SIT entry/exit criteria and supply to the ongoing development of testing processes and critical metrics
• Source and handle the appropriate resources (people, tools, equipment) to successfully deliver high-quality test events
• Lead and run quality-focused SIT test execution events, in alignment with SIT entry/exit criteria, timeline, budgetary, and resourcing constraints
• Collaborate and support business owners of User Acceptance requirements to be completed and signed off
• Support the Change Request process for Cornerstone SBX and ensure coordination and successful delivery of CRs
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our HR function and other organizations applying the learning management technology
• Evaluate, recommend, and drive forward improvements to processes and ways of working to achieve standardization and efficiency
• Ensure all teams follow release management processes and increase non‑conformity
• Maintain quality checks on releases and record those that directly or indirectly cause support incidents
• Coordinate releases to ensure that the integrity of all environments is protected and that the correct components are released according to a documented implementation plan
• Maintain and supervise project plans, project schedules, and work hours
• Document and follow up on relevant actions and decisions from meetings
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
• Provide administrative support as needed

Essential Skills/Experience

• Previous experience of working with validated systems
• Previous experience of handling testing activity including test planning and test execution processes
• Excellent analytical and questioning skills to support effective and creative problem solving
• Validated experience of working with validated solutions
• Strong detail orientation, ability to prioritize, re‑schedule or adapt to changes
• Highly developed communications, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
• Proven emphasis on providing excellent customer service skills and focusing on customer happiness.
• Demonstrable ability to work optimally in diverse, multinational teams and influence others to achieve positive outcomes.
• A strong collaborator with demonstrated ability to work independently and virtually as well as working effectively in a team environment
• Experience of coordinating with partners, including efficiently prioritizing high‐reaching business needs and persistently addressing any conflicts that may arise.
• High standard of written and spoken English

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Knowledge and experience of working with Learning Management technologies e.g., Cornerstone SBX
• Extensive experience in Business Analysis collaborating with global process owners or key business collaborators to translate business needs into effective solutions.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
• Vendor/supplier management
• Knowledge of how the different functional areas of AZ operate with respect to learning
• Experience of delivering Projects using standard IT methodologies
• Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a Degree qualification and certifications, although they are desirable.
