C++ Developer (Guadalajara)

The C++ Developer designs, builds, and supports software solutions for some of the world's largest retailers. Our developers are involved in the entire project lifecycle, they interact directly with our business owners to understand and document requirements, collaborate with the implementation and test teams on design and development; and they oversee delivery and provide ongoing support for their work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions with some architectural guidance.
• Collaborate, as required, with internal and external teams to facilitate development/test, sales, interlock with third-party vendors, and improve development practices.
• Analyze requirements, understand and follow design documentation, implement design by coding using object‑oriented principles.
• Debug and analyze internal and field defects.
• Code bug fixes for internal and field defects.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Review code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing in C++ environments and Object‑Oriented development.
• Knowledge of programming design patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Advanced English.

Preferred skills

• JIRA.
• Java / Python.
• Gitlab.
• Jenkins.
• Linux.
• Experience in Retail POS software or knowledge of Electronic Payment ecosystem.
