Frontend Developer

About the Job

We are seeking a Senior UI Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing Web UI solutions.

This is a hands-on frontend engineering role for someone with strong React experience who can deliver complex UI functionality while also helping improve frontend standards, reusable patterns, code quality, testing practices, and overall user experience.

In this role, you will work closely with UX, product, backend engineering, QA, technical leadership, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements and design concepts into responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing Web UI features.
• Build and enhance reusable UI components aligned with an in-house design system.
• Own complex UI development tasks from technical design through implementation and delivery.
• Collaborate with UX teams to translate wireframes, prototypes, and user stories into polished user experiences.
• Partner with backend engineers to integrate frontend functionality with RESTful services, SOAP services, asynchronous data flows, and application services.
• Support frontend modernization and standardization efforts through scalable, modular, and maintainable implementation approaches.
• Promote strong frontend practices around semantic HTML, accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, testing, and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to improve code quality and consistency.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through practical frontend guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, technical planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery discussions.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong emphasis on Web UI development.
• Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS, JavaScript, React, and client-side scripting.
• Experience with TypeScript or ability to work within a modern typed JavaScript codebase.
• Strong understanding of component-based frontend development, reusable UI patterns, and frontend application structure.
• Experience building responsive web applications with strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, semantic UI, accessibility, and general web standards.
• Experience working with design systems or shared component libraries.
• Experience with modern frontend tooling and build workflows, including tools such as Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn/pnpm, linting, formatting, and browser debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous web pages, API-driven UI behavior, frontend state management, and service integration patterns.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, or similar backend services.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and/or Bitbucket.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL in the context of data-driven applications and backend integration.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, especially component-based development or frontend integration within AEM.
• Familiarity with Java-based web services.
• Familiarity with Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, or frontend build/deployment workflows.
• Experience contributing to design system evolution, shared UI libraries, or frontend modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Angular, Vue.js, Tailwind, Bootstrap, or similar frontend tools.

This role is best suited for someone who can operate beyond individual feature delivery while still remaining primarily hands-on.
