Project Manager – Operational Transformation & Transitions

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager focused on operational transformation and process transitions to join a global organization currently expanding its Shared Services model in Mexico.

This role plays a critical part in migrating and centralizing operations from international locations into a regional hub , ensuring seamless execution, process standardization, and long-term operational stability.

This is not a traditional IT Project Management role. It is focused on business operations, process migration, and transformation execution within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transition projects , including planning, execution, and stabilization phases
• Manage migration of processes and operations across countries , ensuring business continuity
• Coordinate all transition stages such as:
• Knowledge transfer
• Process documentation
• Parallel run
• Go-live
• Hypercare and stabilization
• Develop and maintain:
• Project plans
• Timelines and milestones
• KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including:
• Operations
• Finance
• HR
• IT
• Global leadership
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify risks and manage escalations throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure clear communication and alignment between global and local teams
• Support change management activities to ensure adoption of new processes

Profile requirements

Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience in Project Management
• Proven experience in:
• Process transitions
• Operational transformation
• Business process migration
• Experience working in:
• Multinational environments
• Shared Services / GBS / BPO environments (preferred)

Core competencies

• Strong project execution skills (hands-on delivery)
• Experience managing end-to-end transitions , not just isolated project phases
• Solid understanding of:
• Process documentation (SOPs, workflows)
• Operational KPIs and SLAs
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple levels

Technical & functional knowledge

• Project Management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or hybrid)
• Governance and reporting structures
• Operational processes and business workflows

Languages

• English: Advanced / Fluent (mandatory)
• (Daily interaction with global stakeholders)
