Who we are

REXX Studio is a venture studio that builds tech companies for legacy, underserved industries, and pre-sells the concepts directly to PE firms before they're fully built. REXX comes in as co-founder and first allocator on every company, so they have real skin in each bet.

Role Summary

You'll serve as the studio's primary contact with the industry, identifying and quantifying expensive pain points within under-digitalized sectors. You'll be responsible for securing commercial proof and stress-testing assumptions to ensure every venture is worth the studio's resources.

Key Responsibilities

● Spend the majority of your time in the field, talking directly to industry operators and buyers

● Conduct structured discovery interviews to identify and quantify real operational bottlenecks.

● Secure early commercial signals (LOIs, waitlist signups, and pilot commitments) before a product exists

● Run competitive intelligence and market sizing analysis to validate business opportunities

● Define and enforce kill criteria for ventures at the 90-day gate

● Build and refine the studio's discovery playbook and support active EIRs with market intelligence

Requirements & Background

● Background in Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a quantitative field

● Experience in sales, consulting, field research, or client-facing roles is highly valued

● Fluent in both Spanish and English

● Analytical thinker, capable of building structured market models and turning field research into concise, decision-ready one-pagers

● Socially intelligent and persuasive, with the ability to turn conversations into signed commitments

● AI-native proficiency, using tools to compress research and synthesis time significantly
