Operations Finance Analyst (Santa Catarina)

About the role

As an Operations Finance Analyst, you will perform a variety of general accounting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. This role supports the integrity of financial reporting by maintaining accounting records, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with audits and project activities. You will play an important role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations and adherence to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities in accordance with established accounting principles and standards, including general accounting, general ledger, project, and/or government accounting
• Compile and maintain accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and bank reconciliations
• Monitor account entries and control activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations based on financial data
• Support internal and external audits, as well as project activities, ensuring timely and quality execution
• Compare budget versus present costs and provide insights to support financial discipline
• Prepare basic financial analysis to support accurate financial reporting
• Follow accounting policies, procedures, and control processes to ensure compliance with standards
• Manage fixed asset administration, including tracking investment projects, CAPEX, and capitalizations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, or similar areas
• Practical knowledge of accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency

Nice to Have

• Experience with AS400 (BPCS)
• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience using Power BI and HFMB
