HIL Test engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on HIL Engineer with experience in automotive Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, dSPACE systems, and bench-level validation. The ideal candidate will work on PowerNet test benches, execute manual and automated tests, and support system validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HIL testing and validation for automotive systems
- Work on PowerNet test benches (manual + automation)
- Setup and configure dSPACE HIL environments
- Develop and execute automated test scripts
- Create and manage test cases in TestRail
- Debug issues across hardware/software layers
- Collaborate with validation, controls, and software teams
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of Automotive HIL Testing experience
- Hands-on with dSPACE (bench setup + testing)
- Experience with PowerNet test benches
- Experience with TestRail (test case creation)
- Strong understanding of ECU validation & system testing
Preferred
- Experience in test automation (Python / scripting)
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet protocols
- Exposure to real-time systems / embedded validation
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Automotive / related field
