A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of large-scale mission-critical projects in Querétaro. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in commercial construction environments who are looking to grow within the data center sector.

• Gross monthly salary: $45,000 MXN

Schedule

Monday to Friday

8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

48-hour workweek

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support project scheduling activities, including timeline updates and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Maintain organized project records in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
• Assist with budget tracking, cost control reporting, and invoice reviews.
• Participate in project meetings and support with meeting minutes, agendas, and follow-up action items.
• Support safety compliance, quality control processes, and adherence to project specifications.
• Assist with project closeout activities including punch lists, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and warranties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in construction projects, preferably working for a General Contractor.
• Experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work full-time on-site.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an active construction environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift office supplies or materials up to 15 lbs.
