Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:EL Sales Support Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer Purchase Order (PO) entry while driving operational excellence across the Order Entry process. You will combine strong business knowledge with technical capabilities to identify improvement opportunities, automate repetitive activities, develop digital solutions, and optimize business processes. You will also act as a key partner between Operations, Sales, Proposal Engineering, Customer Support, and Digital teams to enhance productivity, data quality, and customer satisfaction.The work model for the role is: #L-hybrid, based at the ABB San Luis Potosi plant.You will be mainly accountable for:Processing customer Purchase Orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with business requirements, service level agreements, and customer expectations.Analyzing Order Entry processes to identify improvement opportunities and develop automation solutions that eliminate manual work, increase productivity, and improve data quality.Developing and maintaining digital tools, scripts, databases, and workflow automations that support Order Entry operations and enhance overall business efficiency.Collaborating with Sales, Proposal Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, and other stakeholders to resolve complex order issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Evaluating and leveraging emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation platforms, to optimize Order Entry workflows and support the organization's digital transformation strategy.Ensuring Order Entry activities are performed in compliance with ABB standards, processes, guidelines, cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance requirements.Promoting a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce errors, and improve service quality.Acting as a key interface between Sales, Proposal Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, and other relevant functions to ensure effective order execution and issue resolution.Proactively communicating order-related issues, process improvements, and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.Promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adoption of improved processes and digital solutions within the Order Entry organization.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic and collaborative team, where you will have the opportunity to drive operational excellence, contribute to digital transformation initiatives, and develop innovative solutions that improve the customer experience and overall business performance.Qualifications for the roleYou have experience in Order Management, Order Entry, Business Process Analysis, or Continuous Improvement.You have strong technical capabilities in Python, SQL, database management, and Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.Experience with Cloud Services, preferably Azure, REST APIs, and system integration is highly desirable.You have strong business knowledge in Order Management, Business Process Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, and Process Standardization.You are highly adept at analytical and strategic thinking, problem-solving, and process optimization.You demonstrate strong ownership and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.You have advanced English communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.You are passionate about digital transformation, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and leveraging technology to improve business processes.You are committed to customer focus, teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
