Your mission, roles and responsibilities

• Obtain cost models and key information from Octoplus
• Analyze relevant data to develop the most competitive and optimized cost proposals.
• Benchmark against other regions to ensure highly competitive costing.
• Leverage best practices and available information to generate accurate SIT cost models.
• Review assumptions and costing inputs jointly with Purchasing, challenging figures where necessary to ensure robustness and competitiveness.
• Establish sourcing targets aligned with business objectives and cost expectations.
• Maintain proper follow‑up and alignment between acquisition and development cost models to ensure consistency throughout the process.
• Ensure program costing procedures implementation and golden rules compliance
• Estimate cost on a defined product basis (BOM or master principles), using the cost calculation system and database.
• Secure utilization of official rates (for materials, plants, machines…)
• Provide cost information status and follow up (monitoring, explanation)
• Analyze & challenge cost information provided
• Alert line manager & functional manager in case of discrepancies
• Check material rates & exchange rate alignment with Budget
• Gather and consolidate cost data (part price/ investments/ toolings) according to defined product and likely industrial path
• Ensure cost evolution detailed follow up & traceability for piece costs & upfront
• Support the program controller into the Business Plan update explanations or Risks & Opportunities estimates
• Support cost requests to internal / external (purchasing) suppliers
• Support sales teams in the customer ECM technical description (cycle times, material consumption, labor routine, and tooling impacts, …)
• Support sales and purchasing in customer / external supplier negotiation
• Support continuous improvement process on tool and methodology

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Engineering.

Professional Experience:

• Technical knowledge in one or several products and manufacturing processes.

Skills and competencies:

• Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information, and to work on a project management basis
• Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure
• Demonstrated communication skills, autonomy, synthesis and engagement
• International mindset.
• A proactive approach to work and optimist energy.
• Good interpersonal skills.
