Role PurposeWood Mackenzie is a trusted advisor to the natural resources sector. As a key member of our Strategic Accounts Consulting Team, you will find yourself responsible for managing strategically, commercially and operationally driven consultancy projects in all aspects of the global energy sector, with a strong focus on O&G, mining and P&R. The position requires an analytical mind-set with the ability to apply detailed knowledge and experience of the energy markets to a broad range of consulting projects and client situations. These analytical capabilities must be accompanied by a strong command of oral and written communication skills in both internal as well as external and client-facing environments. Additionally, the role demands outstanding team management capabilities, in a consulting context, with an understanding of coaching and other team development techniques. Finally, sound delivery planning and managing skills in a client-facing environment are required for the purpose of this role. While the principal focus of the role is the Latin-American, the job holder may be involved in a range of consulting projects spanning other regions of the world, for example on projects in the EMEARC or Asia Pacific Regions. A sound understanding of the energy value chain is required (exploration, development, production, transportation, transformation and commercialization). A minimum of 2 years in a project or engagement management role is required (at least one project must have had a team size of a minimum of 3 full-time resources for at least 3 months).
