About the Role

We are looking for an Information Security Specialist to strengthen our information security capabilities, working closely with our Engineering, Operations, and Leadership teams.

This person will be responsible for collaborating on the adoption of security best practices, strengthening detection and incident response processes, supporting compliance and risk management initiatives, and contributing to the development of a strong security culture across the organization.

We are looking for a professional with hands-on cybersecurity experience, the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement information security and cybersecurity best practices.
• Strengthen security detection, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Support the investigation, analysis, and containment of security incidents when required.
• Review and optimize security monitoring and logging coverage across cloud environments, endpoints, and applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security controls, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in risk management, compliance, audit activities, and customer security requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, strategic partners, and internal teams on information security and data protection matters.
• Support technical teams in the adoption of threat detection, analysis, and incident response processes.
• Contribute to the development of security documentation, reports, and metrics.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Operations, or SOC environments.
• Hands-on experience working with SIEM platforms.
• Experience using SPL and/or KQL.
• Experience participating in security incident response and management processes.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Relevant information security certifications such as Security+, SC-200, GIAC, or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to implement and strengthen security practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
• Professional English proficiency, including participation in meetings and collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Solid experience in cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and incident response.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in startups or high-growth companies, with the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-changing environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance practices.
• Experience participating in audits or compliance-related initiatives.
• Experience developing security awareness and training programs.
